Living Rights - The Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Stories & Poems by Dr Marisa Antonaya
This anthology presents a collection of stories and poems inspired by the first ten articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Twelve authors and poets from across the globe come together to explore questions of prejudice and equality, freedom and confinement, and the sometimes misguided efforts to assist individuals and nations.
More importantly these pieces bring human rights to everyday contexts and settings; a popular vacation spot, a local neighbourood, a nursing home, or the inner landscape of our mind and spirit.
The collection is edited by Marisa Antonaya, a lecturer and writer who is strongly involved in human rights work. She is based in Thailand and is a member of IPRA and TRANSCEND.
A donation of £1 is made to the charity ´Free the Children´ after every online sale.
